About
SETA stands for the Southampton Engineering Training Association. We were set up in 1969 to train engineering apprentices for local industry. We are a charity and a limited company, and our Board of Trustees is made up of local businessmen and women.
An Engineering Apprenticeship offers you the best of both worlds – gaining a national recognised qualification, whilst being in employment.
We cover apprenticeship training in the following disciplines:
- CAD & Engineering Design
- Electronics
- Electrical Installation
- Engineering Maintenance
- Welding & Fabrication
- Instrumentation
- Machining & CNC
- Mechanical Maintenance
- Pipefitting
